Well, that was a disaster
By: Andrea | October 5th, 2008Hello, I’m here because I have an addiction to Las Chivas. I know they’re bad for my health but I can’t quit them. I’m Andrea and I’m the new blogger for Chivas. I came here for emotional help.
It seemed like the season was starting to go uphill after the midweek advanced to next round of the Copa Sudamericana. It seems to have a regular occurrence to be disappointed.
But today, two minutes. Dos minutos. Wow.
The game started out fine. With a new goalie in the back who doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything and is taking this chance to play for the first team seriously I was pumped to watch the game. In the 31st min the defensively unsound Hector Reynoso came up and scored from a corner. A pretty easy goal considering that he just stuck out his shin and scored. Then in the 51st Alberto Medina scored and it seemed like nothing could go wrong. Right? WRONG. This is Chivas who we’re talking about. In the 67th Lucas Lobos scored for Tigres. Then within 2 mins Julio Aguilas scored to level the game. And that was pretty much it. Another night of frustration.
Omar Arellano had a couple of good chances. ABSOLUTE sitters. But of course, they were wasted. On a positive note Victor Hernandez is looking better with each game and made some pretty good saves. And of course we’re still better than America.
So in the comments…How do you think the season would be going if we had not lost Michel to injury?

I guess Arrellano did replace Bravo, in the sense that he misses so much. It was an incredible give away to Tigres.
