New Uniforms Apertura 2009

By: Andrea | July 1st, 2009

So Chivas has undergone a makeover. It might be controversial as the highlighter yellow away kits, it might not.

But, the crest has changed. Yes, the wonderful Guadalajara crest has changed. The mighty lions, and the tree are no longer golden, but white.

There are interesting stripes at the bottom of the shirt.

All the sponsors have remained the same.

The away shirts are orange and gray.

And for the girls the stripes are pink…

Anyways…see for yourself.

Do you approve?

The new away uniform

I’m not really digging the orange…

Is it better than the fluorescents?

I’m not too happy about the crest either. I really liked being able to have the actual one of the jersey. Being able to see the city crest on the jersey made it feel special. It seemed to set it apart from all the teams, and well my mom(who likes to comment that you should support the team of the city) always likes to use the argument that it was Chivas that had the city crest on it, and not Atlas or Tecos. I dunno, she’s kinda weird sometimes.
