Nery Castillo to Chivas!
By: Andrea | November 5th, 2008
It’s true. To an extent. Nery Castillo has been absent for a while now from domestic and international friendlies. So, for the game against Ecuador Sven Goran Eriksson decided to call up Nery Castillo. A confidence boost, a replacement for his first teamers? You be the judge but either way the kid got called up. Since he hasn’t seen regular action this season and most of the last he’s coming to Chivas to kick the ball around a little while. He’ll practice with the team until the game. The move is not permanent and it is basically the same as when Beckham returned to England to train with Arsenal. It is to improve himself for the game.
One of the conditions set, is that he has to follow all disciplinary rules. Good Luck.

Congrats on a close win. Arellano was a monster on the forward line and Hernández came up big under the three posts when it counted.
Here are more of my thoughts.
