Alright, so I couldn’t watch the first 25 mins of the match because I had classes. Sometimes, school just gets in the way of these things.

From what I can tell is that in the first 25 we had good possession and there was an equal amount of attacking on both sides.

In the 33rd we scored a goal courtesy of Gaucho Avila. Previously, Borgetti had stolen the ball and let it go only fro Gaucho to take it, round the keeper, and put one in the back of the net. Gaucho hasn’t been very impressive this season so far, but the kid can pull out amazing things at times. Let’s hope this is one of those times. As for Borgetti, he has a good chance to prove himself with Ochoa gone and Arellano gone. He’s the guy for the job now and it’s up to him to prove to Flores why he deserves a starting spot. Also, this would be a great time for him to show the fans why they should support him…because in his current age, his contributions have slowed down.

In the 41st Magallon had a tackle on a Lanus player, Blanco, who went down close to the box. The ref didn’t call it, but it was a pretty bad tackle. It seems like Magallon’s inactivity has left him a little rusty.

THe 43rd had a dangerous play by Lanus but Magallon was able to cut it off with some fancy trickery. Had it been Reynoso who had been on the guy, it surely would have gone in.

Half time

So, between the 45th and 62 not much happened. In the 62nd we had a close shot by Gaucho but his shot was too low and it went straight into the keeper’s hands.

In the 67th Lanus kept on getting closer with more attacks and goal seemed to be looming.

Chivas had trouble in the 69th taking the ball out of our own half.

Again in the 77th we had a good chance from a set play but no one was able to head the goal home.

In the 81st Michel showed another good performance when he made a good save. This was a good game for Michel, he made many crucial saves and deserves much praise for his efforts.

The ref added 3 mins to the clock and in the DYING seconds the ball was put into the net by the Lanus players. There was a scruffle to get the ball out and it landed back to a Lanus player who had no one on him. With that, the game ended 1-1.

Our next game in the Libertadores is against Everton at home.
