Hey, We’re Pretty Bomb

That’s right folks. The world has acknowledged us, saying we’re pretty damn great. Ok, so perhaps not, but IFFHS has. According to their rankings, which are usually more reliable than FIFA’s absurd and crazy ones, they’ve placed us as #47th ranked club in the world for the period of February 1 2008- January 30 2009. That’s quite and achievement. And bragging rights as we are the highest ranking Mexican team. Plus, we take top honors of being the highest of the continent.
Other Mexican teams round out the list with the closest team, Atlas, coming in at number 74. Some how America made it in there too. I know, I’m still scratching my head at that one.

OMG the first US team on that list is the Houston Dynamo at #255! Lulz. I think most of the Mexican first division made it on the top 100. Congrats.

Yes, Chivas is gay. The old definition meaning “happy.” And do you know why? Because we’re winning, we’re ranked in a decent place, we’re getting people back from injury, and we’re just amazing.
