Arellano Ready For A Comeback
By: Andrea | February 24th, 2009
On that fateful day on December 19, 2008 Arellano felt a little niggle in his left leg while in preseason training. Turns out it was his fifth metatarsal that was bothering him.
A day later he had a surgery to stop further progress.
Now Arellano is ready to make a comeback. 65 days later he has been cleared by doctors for game action. While he won’t play in the Copa Libertadores against Everton of Chile, a comeback against Pachuca on Saturday(at home!) seems like a strong possibility.
Everyone will be welcoming him back with open arms to help us out of the bad run that’s going on.
But hopefully he can stay healthy because this boy seems to be made out of glass.
Chivas plays Everton of Chile on Wednesday for the Copa Libertadores Group Stages.

Glass seems to be prevalent in the football community these days.
Anyway I’m glad he’s back and hopefully he’s still as good as when he was injured.

It does. For example my other team Arsenal. Robin Van Persie is a good example. In previous seasons he’d play a game and be out for about 2 months. Or Tomas Rosicky. He comes back, plays a game and is out for a year!
I can’t wait for him to be back in form. It’ll give Ochoa more competition and hopefully create more goals from both.
