Failures cast in cement
By: Andrea |That’s it.
The season is over. Chivas had the opportunity to move on but wasted opportunities, not just today but the whole season, and that’s why no more games will be played.
Francisco Ramirez didn’t work out. Raul Arias didn’t work out. Omar Bravo didn’t work out.
That’s why Chivas isn’t in the Liguilla [...]
Where’s the Real Team?
By: Andrea |Oh jeeze, that game was horrible. I was surprised that Chivas weren’t completely slaughtered. After the 1-1 draw the Chivas players looked content with a point. Alright, a point is a point but Chivas did not deserve that point.
Chivas didn’t have many opportunities and were lucky that more goals weren’t conceded.
A Win, A Bore
By: Andrea |I feel repetitive, but again Chivas were disappointing. Shocker, no?
Yes, Chivas won. Yes, Chivas got the three points. Yes, Chivas kept a clean sheet.
But I’m still disappointed.
Last Minute Draw
By: Andrea |No Johnny Magallon, or Aaron Galindo. ‘Venado’ Medina and Omar Arellano back. What would that give Chivas? Barely a draw. And by barely, I mean “the very last play of the game.”
Again, Chivas did not perform well although to be honest it wasn’t very surprising. Omar Arellano showed up and on his return scored [...]
Beaten By a Magical Creature
By: Andrea |Chivas gave us hope. And just like that they took it away.
That’s right. They lost.
Back to Winning Ways
By: Andrea |First three points of the season.
There are good points from this game, and bad ones.
First let’s get to the game.
Mauled by Tigres
By: Andrea |Oh jeeze. This was horrible. So horrible that even “Kikin’ Fonseca scored. Do you know how many goals he scored last season? A grand total of 2. That means that he’s halfway to beating his total…by scoring on Chivas. I never thought I’d say it, but we definitely missed Reynoso in the back. And Aaron [...]
There’s a Party and We’re Not Invited
By: Andrea |Another season has come and gone, and we’re left out of the Liguilla. That’s two in a row if you haven’t been counting, and with the Libertadores taken out of our hands the season is over. Finished. To qualify we needed to win. Period. Indios had a tougher challenge and needed to win by a [...]
There’s No Place Like Home
By: Andrea |After a crazy time trying to find where to play, CONMEBOL has finally agreed to let the Mexican teams in the Copa Libertdores play at home next week. Now, it’s up to Sao Paulo and Nacional de Montevido(who play San Luis) whether they will travel to the games because of the H1N1 dangers.
This [...]
All By Myself……
By: Andrea |Another game, another draw. They’re not making it easier to qualify for the Liguilla are they?
Chivas drew 0-0 against Puebla in front of cardboard cutouts, and prerecorded fans.
