Adios, Cruel Season

By: Andrea | Comments No Comments

I think everyone can agree that this season was not the best. PLENTY of injuries were certainly part of our down fall. After last night’s loss of Inter of Porto Alegre, we have kissed the season goodbye.
The game to be honest was difficult to watch. It seemed like no one was trying. Not even [...]

Well, Concentrate on the Sudamericana

By: Andrea | Comments No Comments

That’s it ladies and gentlemen. We’re out of the liguilla. We needed to score 5 against Indios to assure that we qualified on Saturday. We managed 2 and it went to counting on the results of others.

An Uphill Battle as Chivas Treat Guests With Care

By: Andrea | Comments 1 Comment

El Classico…Get Well Soon

By: Andrea | Comments 5 Comments

Today we played EL CLASSICO. It started with a lot of flair. I mean, even Pele was there. To commemorate his important moments at the Azteca but still. He was there. THE Pele was. Oh, and might I add, we played pretty well. I’d say our confidence was up coming to this game(I know mine [...]

We put one foot in…

By: Andrea | Comments 1 Comment

And hopefully don’t take the other one out. So, today we won against River Plate in the Copa Sudamericana. Some said it was unlikely, but oh how we proved them wrong. River Plate had a lot to prove after coming off a loss against Boca Juniors but Chivas did as well. Now, we look like [...]

We won!

By: Andrea | Comments No Comments

Like the headline says…we won! Qualification the Liguilla is looking possible now. Sometimes this system screws you over because the best over the long run of the tournament doesn’t come out the champion and other times it gives a team that hasn’t been doing that great(US!) a chance to fight for the trophy.
Gotta love it. [...]
